A Continental breakfast is served in the morning and a full English option is available at an extra cost. The Spa at The Chester Grosvenor features 5 luxury treatment rooms providing a wide range of relaxing treatments. Guests can also enjoy the steam room salt grotto and foot baths. In the center of Chester the hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from both Chester Cathedral and Grosvenor Park. On one of Chester's historic shopping streets the hotel is next to the Grosvenor Shopping Center. The Spa and Thermal Suite are open Thursday to Monday. Underwhelmed sadly..

Liked: Location, nice room, comfy bed, delicious cake and card for our Anniversary. Cocktails good but barman was so miserable. Live music nice.
Disliked: Continental breakfast poor, awful coffee and yoghurt. We were booked for festive menu 59 pounds, there was nothing festive on it. So we had to order off menu a burger which was very tasty but came with nothing! Had to pay for fries 5 pounds and smallest portion ever, not impressed! Should have eaten out! Would have liked a bar area. Always fancied staying, very expensive, this is not a 5 Star hotel! No way...disappointed/underwhelmed, will not return.

Great location and staff but...

Liked: Staff are really professional and friendly. Location is perfect for Chester City centre
Disliked: Room disappointed as we found broken glass and plastic tags on the floor which they sorted when reported and there was no hand soap in the bathroom which staff were apparently aware of but for some reason we had to ask for it! For the price, I also (wrongly) assumed that bathrobes would be provided for our use.

Excellent location just by the...

Liked: Excellent location. The staff was helpful friendly and efficient.
Disliked: The lift was broke and husband was on crutches

Liked: I liked the location
Disliked: This is the 5th time I’ve stayed here and the 3rd time I’ve been disappointed. The rooms are dated. The bed this time was terribly small. There was not even a pen in the room to fill out the breakfast card (5* hotel with no stationary) and the breakfast arrived with toast and no butter for room service. Not a 5* hotel anymore, maybe 20 years ago.

Lovely hotel in a great...

Liked: Beautifully decorated and furnished and vey festive for Christmas Lovely friendly staffVery nicely appointed room - comfortable bed and good bathroom
Disliked: The WiFi isn’t great - kept disconnecting and poor strength. I used my mobile data mostly.The room was quite warm but easily adjusted
