good.. I would return

Liked: food was excellent.. staff good.
Disliked: not suitable for short people. the mirror in the bath was over my head.

Perfect for short break.

Liked: Location, quiet, very clean, good food and excellent breakfast, staff very efficient and friendly. Parking on site close to accommodation.
Disliked: No negative comments

Excellent pub/hotel, central yet rural...

Liked: The Chequers was an excellent central location for meetings closeby Heathrow & High Wycombe over two days.Dinner was equally good, lots of menu choiceRooms were in very good condition - spacious & well appointed

Chequered!

Liked: Junior suite was great, food good and service fine. But pricey I thought and had to pay extra for breakfast as went via booking.com but would havd been included if booked direct which I wasn't 'laware of.
Disliked: The price.

Reasonable

Liked: Lovely country inn on one side with modern extension on the other side. Clean, good sized bedroom. Good shower. Catered for Coeliacs. Plenty of parking. Staff friendly.
Disliked: Our room had a view of the kitchen extension roof - not attractive and very noisy when the extractor fan was on. Food was very average.

Great little getaway spot.

Liked: Really nice hotel, easy to get to and a great location from Beaconsfield. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
