Best roast dinner in England

Liked: Staff really went above and beyond to accommodate us and we're very welcoming. The food at the pub was quite pricey (for us Australian atleast) but was the best food I've eaten in England and would recommend it.The rooms were very pretty with Netflix on the TV
Disliked: The rooms got incredibly hot and stuffy in June, the only window was a skylight so we often had to prop the door open with a chair. The bathroom was also dirty on the walls. One of my pet hates with hotels is those tiny single milks, id expect more from a nice hotel like this.

Nice place, but needs a...

Liked: Lovely place, good food friendly staff, but the room had a few issues that needs sorting out, the main entrance door the latch is in back to front so had to keep locking the door with the key as if kept opening, the tap in the sink, you could pee faster than it worked, either blocked up or very poor pressure hard to get hot water out of it to wash shave etc
Disliked: Working on the carpark when we arrived, so very unsure what or where to park, room very hot even though we had fan on, velux window blind wouldn’t close had to call someone, he managed to close if for us but similar problem the second night Needs a couple of batteries, can’t understand why they didn’t replace them??

Passable

Liked: Plush comfy bed in a clean room
Disliked: Room was initially noisy and stuffy, in particular it would be nice to get some air flow maybe by opening the roof window, as the room was much warmer than the outside air. The fridge had to be unplugged. In the end I had to sleep with the door open.

Overall a very pleasant stay...

Liked: The room and en-suite were lovely. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. Rooms were private and there was plenty of parking. I enjoyed the outside dining space for breakfast. The breakfast was very nice.
Disliked: The bathroom floor could be cleaner and the coffee machine was full with used coffee pods and coffee drips. There was sone wear and tear that hadn’t been maintained but this didn’t affect my stay. The minibar was well stocked but very pricy. The parking area is being upgraded so it was functional but looked like a building site in areas.
