Disliked: I have issue closing the door, I have to slam the room door in order for it to close

Grateful for the quiet room,...

Liked: The location is great, and not too far from Mt. Airy Casino. The beds were comfortable, and it was quiet. We had no trouble sleeping or with any noise in the hallways or adjacent rooms.
Disliked: The furniture & decor is very dated, scratches on the furniture. The sitting chair had a stain on it. The bathroom grout was disgusting, and there was a burn mark on the tub (non smoking room). The check in was horrendous. We arrived at 5pm, and there was a group checking in before us, and another group arrived after us. There was only one person at the desk. She was kind & patient & did a great job, but the line was practically out the door. The lobby was 85 degrees, everyone was sweating, cranky and tired from their drive. There was another woman in the office, but she never came out to help. We waited 40 mins to check in, absolutely ridiculous!!! Thank God the air worked in our room. The elevator is small, old, dirty & a little scary to ride on. We didn't use the pool. The parking lot had ample parking. We came back to the hotel around 9:30pm. There was a rear door accessible from the parking lot. We thought you would need a room key to enter, but it wasn't locked. We walked up the stairs to our floor & room. It was a little concerning for safety reasons. My husband and I paid $162 for the night. It didn't include breakfast, which I thought they could have given us at least breakfast for that price. They gave a $2/pp off their breakfast.

Nice rooms. But could use...

Liked: Room size. Comfortable beds, pillows and blankets. Nice room layout. Great location.
Disliked: Loud guest with no correction to the noise. Pool was utilized by a party for the majority of the day. Could only utilize pool once the sun was going down due to the biker party. Only one elevator works, therefore utilized the steps all weekend to make faster.

I would give the property...

Liked: Staff in restaurant is very nice; rooms are a little run down but beds, linens and towels are good. Bathroom smelled like mold and the bath mat had not been cleaned in forever because there was black mold around it. Toilet ran constantly and stopper was missing from the sink. Facilities were lovely and setting is beautiful!

Liked: My wife and I had an amazing experience. This was our first time there and we are definitely coming back. Place was clean and organized. Room with balcony was decent! Clean and comfortable. Pool and lounge area was better than expected. Staff was very professional. Great place for a couples getaway.
Disliked: The entrance was crowded with people. Smoking and lounging.
