Only steps from St Patrick's...
Liked: Location is perfect for access to the centre of Dublin on foot. A surprisingly quick walk to George's St and from there only a few steps to Grafton Street via the Powerscourt Townhouse. When we needed an emergency sewing kit, one was provided without delay by the reception staff. Breakfast was of a high standard and the staff on duty were excellent. The area behind the hotel is most attractive and we enjoyed the restaurant - The Old Dublin- very much.
Disliked: It seemed expensive but it provided good value, given the location and the quality of the service.

Comfortable stay, great location and...
Liked: Breakfast was an extra 25 euros each but of excellent quality and choice. Staff were very attentive and efficient. Reception staff were magnificent helping us with our cases and storing them whilst we went around the City. Location is brilliant for exploring the city and getting to the Guinness Store House experience.Good discount using the recommended car park (Q Park).
Disliked: Our room had twin 3ft beds but the top of the mattress is really high off the floor and the combination of the height and only being a single bed gave the impression of sleeping on a plank!

Delightful hotel hidden away.
Liked: The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Loved all the new electronic switches in the rooms very high tech. Enjoyed going to the spa and had a treatment. Loved the 12 o’clock check out. Liked the bar/ café area near reception, which was handy just to stop off and have a coffee and a pastry and a spot of work.
Disliked: I found the twin beds that we had were extremely high to get in and out of. Thought the hotel would’ve had more toiletries in the bathroom such as cotton pads to remove make up, shower cap, cotton buds etc that most 4 to 5 star hotels offer these days. Also would have liked something like the white company or Elemis products to be used. Didn’t really like the fact that I had approached the hotel several times to see if I could get an early check-in as my flight was at 7:20 am and arrived in Dublin by 8 am. I had been up since 3:30 am and asked if I would be able to pay for an early check-in But was told that if I wanted to secure an early check-in I had to pay for the night before which at £400 a night seemed a little excessive. I didn’t get into my room until after 3 pm.
