The Chalet

all good expcept the lighting

Liked: check in and check out and the clean and bright exterior
Disliked: The room was poorly lighted. It needed a floor lamp for reading in chair/couch. The light bulbs in the room itself (not the bathroom) were cold and dim. Need brighter but warmer light bulbs.

Liked: Nice room configuration, two beds but set up in a L shape. Good use of space!
Disliked: Weak, non existent WiFi. We were on the second floor, closer to the main road.

Liked: Our leisure trip turned into a serious family emergency. It was exhausting, to say the least. Going back to the Chalet was a breath of fresh air for us. The rooms were very well kept and the beds… we slept hard and well because the beds were so comfy. Our hostess was such a kind and hard working lady. She made sure we had everything we needed. On our checkout she was so kind I nearly cried. Having a coffee shop next door and a frozen yogurt shop across the street also made it nice! The location was perfect. I will be back to stay. I want to tell the Chalet thank you for their kindness and concern over our situation. What a great place to stay!

Disliked: The owner telling me to park my truck across the street and when I ask if it was okay to park there without being toed the response was , not there problem.

Liked: Comfortable bed, cery clean and we enjoyed the kitchen.
