We had a great weekend...

Liked: Vittorio gave us a brochure containing useful information and recommendations for restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent and everything was very clean. Also, our room was very comfortable. As a bonus, we discovered that we were only a block from the Ottawa Art Gallery and a short walk to Rideau Centre and the Byward Market.

Vittorio was a great host!...

Liked: The pillows were clouds and the bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: It was close to the Ottawa Mission and walking towards the Shaw Centre as a lone female felt risky, for me.

Disliked: Room was slightly on the small size, but ample social space downstairs to chill in.

Pleasant

Liked: This is a charming old house, recently painted and very clean. It’s in a pleasant street a few blocks from the market.
Disliked: The bathroom is about the size of a cupboard, with an incredibly weak shower.

Liked: Breakfast was nice. Location was great. Host was very pleasant. Everything was very clean. Nice to have code entry.
Disliked: Found the bed not very comfortable. I also expected nice cotton sheets rather than more poly blend. Washroom was very small and the shower did not have much pressure. I have not been at a BnB for a long while and I was used to antique furniture and high quality beds and bedding and fine china breakfasts, so part of my disappointment was no doubt expectations based on previous experience. Investment in high quality bedding can go a long way. I guess I expected more for the price point, but again, I could just be out of touch.
