Would recommend if going to theatre as it's only a five minute walk and reasonably priced.

Liked: Staff very helpful and breakfast was excellent. Rooms have tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits.
Disliked: Very clean but decor could be updated.

Liked: Small but comfortable room with nice shower in the bathroom. Very good breakfast. Convenient onsite parking.
Disliked: Bed was comfortable but sagged on one side.

Liked: Warm and cozy room with a very comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the bar area was lovely with comfy seating/sofas. A very pleasant stay and would likely stay here again. Excellent value for money.
Disliked: I expected there to be an iron in the room, as there is in most hotel rooms. I had to go out that evening with a creased top. However, I should have checked the room details prior. Some stains to the carpet, no spoons with the tea and coffee, and the shower could have been cleaner.

Absolutely stunning freshly refurbed hotel

Liked: On entering the building your could tell everything was newly refurbished, chairs in reception and bar area we're extremely comfortable and brand new. We had a sea view room(16) and everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was exceptionally comfortable(best night's sleep in quite some time) the two arm chairs in the window bay were also extremely comfortable we could of stayed in them all day just looking at the stunning views. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. We decided not to have breakfast on this occasion opting for a lie in instead. There is a free private car park at the rear and the hotel is ideally situated and not far from the town centreWe would highly recommend The Central and will most definitely going back in the near future. We look forward in seeing what they have done to their new hotel next door too.
