Very good

Liked: I came here with my daughter and niece for a girly weekend getaway for my daughter's 15th birthday the hotel was lovely lovely staff the rooms was abit dated n needed a touch up here n there! Our family room had a noisy bathroom (could hear upstairs n down the corridor walking about) that sounded like they was in our bathroom but that's what you get in a family hotel.
Disliked: The noisy bathroom

It could have been a...

Liked: The staff were excellent and very helpful, the breakfast was also very nice.
Disliked: When we arrived at check in, we were told there was a surcharge for our small dog of £25, this was not brought to our attention when booking the room online. Also the room was not as clean as expected and the bathroom looked very tired. The hotel stated it is dog friendly, but if you want to dine in the hotel with your pet, you are restricted to a pop up table in one of the rooms adjacent to the reception, with lots of passing guests and staff, not ideal.

A nice hotel but basic,...

Liked: The pool leisure facilities were really nice, the staff were friendly and very accommodating and the evening food menu was very nice both in the bar and the restaurant. The bar staff were all really nice and drinks were reasonably priced. The bed was actually really comfortable.
Disliked: The breakfast was lacking in comparison to the evening menu, the rooms really need refurbishing and appliances should be checked before someone stays, no views to speak of.

Was with a charity group...

Liked: It was easy to get around and was perfect location to walk in to town. Didn’t need your car.
Disliked: It is dated as it is an old building. Could do with the bedrooms being updated but were clean and comfortable
