A great getaway with everything...

Liked: The property was spacious with lots of facilities. Even though it was raining, there were plenty of things to do.

A very relaxing experience.

Liked: The friendliness of all the staff. The relaxed atmosphere. The very impressive main building & scenic views.
Disliked: The length of time to receive an order for a single beverage when sat down in a very quiet bar. A fresh coaster with each new beverage request would have been a nice touch.

Not a great experience especially...

Disliked: Dinner at the grill unattentive waiting staff who would rather talk to colleagues than serve customers. Had to wait nearly 15 minutes for order to be taken and yet asked to pay 10% service charge.

Average at best.

Liked: Breakfast was very poor. Scrambled eggs were awful.
Disliked: No working air con in room. No flanels in bathroom. No sleep function on tv. No water in room.

Exceptional

Lovely hotel but won’t rush...

Liked: The pool was stunning and not busy because you had to book. The food was lovely, we went to The Grill restaurant. Very clean lovely hotel.
Disliked: Room was absolutely tiny with two chairs facing a pillar. No room to use the dressing table station. It doesn’t state anywhere that you also have to pay £20 to park the car.
