Nice country hotel, good location

Liked: Nice country hotel, conveniently located to explore Brecon Beacons National Park Friendly staff; great food served in the restaurant
Disliked: The window only opened a tiny bit which led to our room being very hot during the night

Spacious room shame about the...

Liked: Spacious room and bathroom. Excellent shower.
Disliked: Room was dark and very hot, though they did provide a fan. Lots of noise from the street. Poor breakfast.

It’s was a lovely stay...

Liked: Location and bar staff - lovely dining setting
Disliked: Room was not ready until 3:30pm when check in was at 3pm - it was a very warm day and needed to refresh and even though we was early room was still not ready at 3pmCheck in staff member on the Saturday questioned that we ‘do you know we have a double room booked ladies’ As a lesbian couple we felt we deserved a little more tact. I somewhat would question if that would be rechecked with a Hetro couple. That said, Staff member we was helpful and courteous but we felt uncomfortable after that comment.

Very good

Liked: The staff were very friendly and amenable. The tea, coffee, chocolate etc were great, they were local and a good selection (including oatmilk).
Disliked: Personal preference, but the walls were very bare in the restaurant and the bedroom. Pictures or mirrors would have enhanced the atmosphere I think.

Lovely stay

Liked: Lovely hotel in a fantastic location for Llandeilo. We received a free upgrade which was a nice surprise. We didn’t use many facilities but we had a lovely stay for 1 night.
Disliked: Unfortunately our breakfast was a little undercooked and cold but the quality of the food was fantastic and I think we were just unlucky on this occasion.
