My sisters and I had...

Liked: There were so many choices at the breakfast. It was delicious and the staff was very helpful.

I would stay again but...

Liked: The location was brilliant, the room was a good size and comfortable beds. Choices of breakfast were fabulous.
Disliked: The shower had no pressure or much warmth. The fact that we had a room numbered 407, caught the lift to the 3rd floor then proceeded to go down 7 steps through a door then down another 5 steps through a narrow corridor and door down one more step and there she was. It was rather awkward carrying travelling suitcases.

Liked: Beautiful old traditional style hotel, lots of beautiful old furniture and rooms to explore. Lovely choice of breakfast. Hotel is very clean, friendly staff, great entertainment, perfect location. Would highly recommend
Disliked: A safe in the room would be a helpful addition, and more hangers in the wardrobe.

Extremely pleasant stay

Liked: Nice airy room and comfortable bed. Good breakfast and we ate twice in the restaurant and enjoyed the food and the folk music! Tasteful decor and period furniture with various lounges to sit in .
Disliked: Shower lacked a separate hand held attachment and there was nowhere to put anything down in the bathroom.

Disliked: The road noise and the steps were creaky and we could hear from our room

Disliked: Internet was awful not possible to connect a lot of time. Complained but nothing improved Noise next door until 1.30 am but impossible to contact reception by room phone. Receptionist not really interested.No fridge in room warm bottled water in cardboard container only. Some staff very non customer focused
