The Castle is located in a quiet area at the top of Bishops Castle with spectacular views of the town. It offers 3 bars with log fires a restaurant serving local produce and beamed bedrooms. The Castle Hotel's restaurant serves a modern food menu and a full English breakfast is available every morning. The outdoor seating area where guests can eat and drink in warmer months has views of the Shropshire Hills. Superb

Liked: The only disappointing issue were the poached eggs at breakfast. Not really cooked. Otherwise excellent and we would stay here again. Very welcoming.

Lovely and historic place with...

Liked: Characterful property right at the top of the hill town. Nice food , good beer, great views, lovely beer garden
Disliked: The full English breakfast could have been more fulsome
