We had a lovely stay,...
Liked: The property was well situated within easy access of the center of Portrush and has been lovingly restored and decorated. Despite building work being undertaken at the nearby railway halt, we found the property was very quiet.
Disliked: Although we were aware that the room we booked was at the top of the property up two flights of stairs, as one of us has a back problem the stairs were challenging. The owner was extremely helpful and carried our luggage up and down which was a great help.

An absolute gem!
Liked: The Carrick is a Gem! So pleased we chose here for our recent trip to Portrush. It's in a lovely quiet area and has a view back over the town. We were able to park easily and walked into the town along the west prom.Our room/suite had the bedroom, toilet and spacious bathroom (with free standing bath) off a little hallway once through the keyless entry door. Beautifully decorated in keeping with the period of the building as is the whole house.Scott is very welcoming and clearly very passionate, he was very attentive to our needs during our stay, couldn't do enough and gave us loads of recommendations and ideas for our day trips and evenings. Breakfast was perfect! There's an extensive menu to choose from with locally sourced quality produce, my poached eggs were perfect both mornings! Great coffee and again Scott made sure we had everything we wanted.Its in a great location to visit the town and to use as a base to visit the many nearby attractions, would definitely recommend and would love to go back.
