Ok for very inexpensive stay.

Liked: Hotel had spacious & clean rooms. Nice temperature and Windows were secure to keep heat in. Room was pleasant and had nice furniture.
Disliked: Televisions didn't appear to work in my room or another couples room I could hear complaining. We did not complain as we didn't feel it was too much of an issue and thought the weather had affected the signal. We arrived by bus later and the hotel didn't serve dinner to anyone past 7.30pm. Nowhere locally walking distance to get food and no microwave in room to make ready meal. Room did have a kettle and cup, tea bags ect. You also MUST order your meal before 2pm each day if you want to eat in hotel, you cannot arrive,after 2,view menu and order. Toilet system seems to make noise or have air stuck in pipes which cleared after running taps and shower.

Superb

Liked: The food was 1st class and the hotel was very clean and comfortable the staff were excellent
Disliked: Nothing

I would stay there again...

Liked: The staff were great. Room was comfortable. bed was fabulous. Dogs were made really welcome. And for all of us that’s really important to us.
Disliked: The bathroom could have done with an update. And the grounds and carpark could have been a little bit better maintained apart from that it was great.

Charming hotel

Liked: Very charming and super nice food !
Disliked: Looks a bit old from outside but once you get inside you start loving it!

Comfortable, good food, obliging staff.

Liked: Breakfast was excellent, though not included in the price. Location was good. Helpful and friendly staff who are coping with tradespeople problems. A lot of the work is done by the owners.
Disliked: The gardens needed attention. The room wasn't serviced- a minor problem for our 2 night stay.

Lovely whisper quiet break

Liked: Very quiet and peaceful location. Super friendly staff. Much of the hotel is being renovated but our rooms and the dining area/ lounge were excellent.
Disliked: The ongoing renovations mean a lot of the hotel is not available and from the outside looks really run down and tired. Once inside the experience is much brighter and positive. Super rooms, super quiet, super friendly hosts.

Exceptional

Liked: It was an unforgettable experience that my colleagues will remember for the rest of their lives !!!

Very comfortable stay , excellent...

Liked: Exceptional service provided by the lady that ran the hotel. Very friendly, welcoming such a warm person. Very helpful in local areas and services. Great meal was had and a delicious breakfast.
