Liked: The room was nice and clean.
Disliked: The was no fan or a/c. The room was hot all night

Liked: The property was well used could do with modernisation but it was clean and comfortable- we didn’t see any staff. It served our purpose and was priced accordingly.

Liked: Lovely bed, great tea facilities.
Disliked: Shower not well cleaned lots of mould and shower head was absolutely filthy.

A pleasant enough stay

Liked: I slept well with teas and coffee in the room Room was lovely and shower was great TV was a nice size plenty of wardrobe space and clean. Very well situated for railway , town centre and hospital .lots of places to eat nearby as well Access was easy to use and I was able to go as I please .
Disliked: Carlton is listed as a hotel and restaurant .Breakfast times are on the advertisement too .They don't do any food and it is subtly mentioned that this is the case .The WiFi code didn't work and the signal was not great I phoned twice but just received an answerphone .Until I met Julie on Wednesday morning , I did feel that I was in the hotel on my own . I left the key at reception without seeing anyone on leaving and wasn't able to say goodbye or thankyou .

Liked: Tried numerous times to get a refund due to extenuating circumstances and have been ignored. They have failed to reply to booking.com, who were very helpful with me, . They have added to a very stressful time..if this is how they treat people ,then it says a lot. Avoid, save your money, and go somewhere else.
