Ignorant staff. no working tv....

Disliked: Arrived Monday night after 8hrs travel. Tv not working was told would be sorted next day. Arrived back 9pm after full day work following day, still no tv, was told problem had not even been reported. Manager not available. Asked to speak to manager again on departure, was told not available but he would call me later. No call back! Called hotel once home Wednesday evening, was told by vey rude reception that manager does not do calls and I should contact booking.com directly.Was supposed to be a deluxe room? More like a 1970s converted kitchen see attached photos.

Enjoyed our stay. Would be...

Liked: It was easy to find, not far out of the centre of Canterbury (less than 15 minutes walk), pretty comfortable and very clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a problem with the light in our bathroom. The member of staff on reception came to look at it and he arranged for it to be fixed within about 30 minutes, even though it was at a weekend. Much appreciated.
Disliked: It’s an old building and although very clean, it feels due for a bit of a ‘refurb’.

Relaxing holiday at Canterbury

Liked: The hotel is in a very convenient location that is near the city centre. The breakfast was very good. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Not too mention the indoor pool which allows you to unwind after a busy day. Recommended for a relaxing holiday.
