Value for money, but your...

Liked: The bar downstairs
Disliked: The big Samoan/Maori at the Front desk. Was unapproachable, upon asking questions about parking and amenities he wasn’t able to answer with integrity and kindness/respect. It was very cut/throat and came off rude.We also are an indigenous family whom travelled all the way from Christchurch to Auckland and back down the Christchurch. So trying to connect with this agent was hard to do so.Wont recommend this property for that sake. Thank you

Perfect location for CBD activities

Liked: The location is second to none, right next to Courtney place with cafes, bars and entertainment on the doorstep, but manages to be well insulated from any noise outdoors or from within the pub within the building. The dorm room wouldn't have been easy to heat up with the heaters provided (high ceilings) , but we prefer to sleep in a cool room, so it suited us perfectly. The toilets/showers were immaculate and the water was got and powerful. The bar/pub was well stocked, had good deals and sport on the screens and friendly staff.
Disliked: Can't think of anything.
