Good

Basic but functional.

Liked: It was convenient for what I needed and decent value. The pub downstairs was reasonably priced and the Sunday roast was good.
Disliked: There were a lot of lads on the floor where my room was who were definitely in party mode and I heard another woman go knock on a couple of doors to ask them to either be quiet or take it outside/down to the pub as it was after 10pm.The state of the shared toilet/shower facilities was not brilliant.

Liked: The location was great. Staff was friendly for the limited interaction we had.
Disliked: I needed to leave very early the next day but couldn't leave my luggage. I was able to do so at my next hotel fortunately, which wasn't too far.Showers and bathrooms are in a shared area for both men and women, there is no basket or hanger in the individual shower rooms so it felt awkward to leave my belonging and getting undressed outside the shower. As with any backpacker, you get what you pay for, just be mindful of that. (creaky bunk beds, inconsiderate roommates, etc.)

Excellent price/quality ratio if one...

Liked: Room with a shower makes a huge difference in this Hotel, the smell out of the shared showers/toilets was disgusting.... Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Perfect location for the city center, Airport Bus etc. Clean room with a comfortable bed.

I wished I could of...

Liked: Happy with Cambridge Hotel especially the late notice and arrival from me. Their communication for after hours were brilliant.
Disliked: Nothing
