Excellent stay for my requirements
Liked: The location for travel and visit to Headingly Cricket Ground. The helpfulness of the staff and the excellent value breakfast
Disliked: At my age the stairs were a bit steep but I accept that is the building style

Disliked: I prefer a shower. This room provided a bath with a shower attachment. The curtains were torn and shabby. The balcony window was dirty.The mattress was a little tired.Could have had a newer chair.The cool box did not seem to operate.We seem to be on a flight path there with flight noise quite early and every 10 minutes.

Very good
Liked: Location great, right by Headingley and only a short walk into the town centre with plenty of options for food and drink.
Disliked: Hotel was tired and really does need a revamp and a good deep clean

Excellent location but way overpriced...
Liked: Location was fabulous and been able to come and go at anytime was good. Breakfast was affordable and lovely.
Disliked: The room was very dated and needed a lot of TLC, I don’t mind dated furniture but there were holes in the ceiling, little DIY jobs that would have made the room much more passable. The amount of webs in the room was awful which comes down to basic cleaning and the door to the bathroom would not close properly

Terrible hotel, dirty and smelly
Liked: The lady who greeted us was friendly, Shame about the hotel!
Disliked: The hotel was dirty, mould on shower curtain,toilet didn't flush and smelt really bad, cobwebs in window. Drawers and wardrobe smelly.Bed looked clean but impossible to lie on as the springs were so raised and very uncomfortable. Extremely noisy too, all night. Left in the middle of the night as impossible to sleep.

Would not stay again
Liked: Very welcoming staff
Disliked: Quite possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.The only real positive was the check in. We were greeted by a really nice member of staff who checked us is and showed us to our room. That’s about as positive as it gets though I’m afraid. Location wise you can see Headingley Stadium from the back of the hotel and it’s about 10 mins walk to Burley Park train station.It was quite possibly the grottiest hotel I’ve ever seen. Extremely dated which I could cope with, but dirty as well. The bathroom was particularly disgusting. The shower curtain looked like it has been there since the hotel opened. The bath was grubby, the bathroom ceiling had a hole in it. It’s fair to say you felt dirtier after you got out of the shower than before and the water was lukewarm at best.Grim.
