Liked: The breakfast was delicious and had very filling portions. We had something different every morning. Jamie was a gracious, sweet hostess while her husband cooked a hot meal. The street where the house is located is very nice with easy parking. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and relaxing in the evening. The king size bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: As an unfamiliar bed and breakfast guest, I didn't realize that "private bathroom" meant that the bathroom was across the hall. The other 2 rooms in the house have attached private bathrooms. We adapted. The bathroom was very nice with room to store our essential bath items. Our room had a very nice make-up mirror and table which were very convenient. If you have difficulty with stairs, this house may not be the best for you. The walk is close to the trolley but perhaps a little longer than you envisioned if you walk to the Falls.

Liked: The staff at the facility were very friendly and efficient. The facility was very clean and comfortable. The food was very good and filling; I didn't need any lunch because we were so well fed.

Quiet, relaxing, and just what...

Liked: Great location, quiet and peaceful.
Disliked: Can't really say we didn't like it but breakfast is not via menu. One size fits all but we loved Jamie's food!

Exceptional

Liked: This charming home was wonderful in every way! We loved coming back after an activity-filled day and playing card games in the living room. Not only was breakfast delicious each day, but we also loved chatting with other guests and our hosts, plus watching the birds at the feeders in the backyard. Jamie and Dan are outstanding hosts!

Liked: We had a truly delightful stay at Butler House Guest House. From the moment we arrived, the Dan & Jamie made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality and attentive service. The guest house is beautifully maintained, combining charm and comfort in equal measure. Our room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and offered all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay.Breakfast was a real highlight—freshly prepared with quality ingredients and served with a personal touch that made each morning special. The location is convenient yet peaceful, providing a perfect base for exploring the local area.

Liked: Fantastic location,beautiful property , Dan and Jamie were very welcoming , giving us a great tip to experience the Skylon restaurant . We also loved sharing the lovely breakfast with other guests.

Liked: The breakfast was excellent and well presented. The bed and bedding were very comfortable as were the bath towels. The Butler House made for a comfortable community feeling both with the owners and other patrons
