Great location and nice place...

Liked: Coffee shop and restaurant in the building. Very walkable area and safe. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Nice outdoor space with a fire pit. For the price I would definitely stay there again.

Liked: It was a long walk to the convention center. They charged my card over and over again. Even after I had checked out. When I called it they were pretty rude. they did not repond to email about a couple of lot items. The rooms were very expensive for what they offered but we did like the hotel

A perfect place to stay....

Liked: Really liked the retro style. The fabulous garden in the relaxing courtyard with table tennis was a real bonus. Having the coffee shop right next door- serving excellent coffee was very convenient. Also the location is great.

Quirky stay and not as...

Liked: Very retro and quirky. Calm oasis in the middle. Decent location close to ferries to Granville Island and walkable to the Waterfront/Stanley Park/ Davie Street.
Disliked: Staff at reception did not ask us if we needed any info about the neighbourhood or the facilities (We discovered the free bikes, table tennis and the tourist leaflets on checkout), Air conditioning a bit noisy.

It was clean but I...

Liked: Has character.
Disliked: Coffee wasn’t available until 8 on the weekends but we had to leave earlier for tours. The air conditioner on the floor. We had been traveling for 15 days when we arrived so we each had a large suitcase. We could not have them both opened -we put one in the ironing board by the bathroom. Take out the side chair. We stayed 2 nights.
