Liked: Nice room at front of property so had a view. Excellent staff who were very friendly and worked well as a teamGood breakfast selection as long as you asked as no breakfast menu on table. It was great to have some fresh fruit and yogurt as well as a cooked breakfast. Good local produce used, tasty local sausages and bacon.Staff were lovely and very accommodating and nice to see they were having a team meeting on day we left. Happy staff who have worked at pub for many years.
Disliked: Bottles of Heinz tomato sauce and brown sauce instead of sachets which weren't great.

Great location but poor rooms...

Liked: Location was exceptional and the management were pleasant.We enjoyed the restaurant food and local cider.Free car parking was nice.
Disliked: The rooms were exceptionally small in the roof space and the shower was inadequate. The toilet paper and shower gel ect..were the most basic products. The bed was uncomfortable and wedged under a sloping roof which made it almost impossible to get out of on that side of the bed.Most of the staff were pleasant, but the breakfast lady wasn't. Rushed choices, never offered fruit or cereal. Made us feel like asking for beans was an unreasonable request which made us feel uncomfortable. The Internet in the loft where we stayed for three nights was unusable.
