Very good

Liked: The location in Old Glossop is lovely, very similar to a small Cotswold village. Service at the bar and restaurant was very good and all the bar/restaurant was clean.
Disliked: Not much really but a good shampoo of the upstairs carpet wouldn't go amiss although this a minor thing and easily remedied.

Superb

Liked: The room was very spacious with the biggest bed I have ever seen! Lovely window seat and opposite the church. Beautiful location. Good food.
Disliked: No parking on site but managed to get space in general car park.

Exceptional

Liked: The location was fantastic in the heart of Old Glossop, which is really beautiful, and with access to beautiful countryside to walk or trail run. Room was comfortable and clean. Had a good nights sleep.The Bull, Queens Arms and Distant Hills Brewery plus Shepleys Cafe meant there were lots of very local eating options.I had a great short break.

Great place to explore from

Liked: The staff were very helpful and polite. The room was large and comfortable. The food and range of drinks were also very good.

A very picturesque pub set...

Liked: It was very clean and the room was large and the bed was comfy.
Disliked: I would have liked a chair in the room, there was plenty of room for one.

Not a great stay, location...

Liked: Bed was comfortable
Disliked: Lots of noise from pub below, dog barking in adjacent room, no food available for an evening meal, basin in bathroom didn’t empty.
