Lovely property but totally unhelpful...

Disliked: I left my suit trousers and waistcoat in the chest drawers of my room. Annoying for everyone but it happens. I called twice to ask if I could arrange a courier to pick them up. They said they would come back to me but nobody ever did. I wrote a note via Booking.com asking for my suit back. Nobody helped me. A real shame because otherwise it's a lovely property.

Liked: Lovely place, lovely area in old glossop, so quiet and peaceful. The owner went out of his way to allow us early check in as we were attending a family funeral. Lovely rooms, really clean. Lovely views out of the bedroom windows.

Great weekend in the Hifh...

Liked: Great location, just a 10 minute walk into town. A 5 min taxi ride from the train station.Food excellent - the Sunday roast was amazing. Breakfast was served at their sister pub, which is literally a 30-second walk away and was amazing. The staff were super helpful, and nothing was too muchHighly recommended and would deffo stay there again.
