Liked: Great location for our base to visit Chapel down. Lovely pub with good food and drinks ,a stones throw from the lodges . Very easy to find and Tenterden is only a short drive for a good choice of restaurants and shops .

Great spot for a short...

Liked: Has everything you need and is super peaceful.
Disliked: The bed was uncomfortable- needs new mattress.

Disliked: Room was too cold. Fire took along time to heat up and never reached a good temperature

Liked: It was a lovely lodge. And in a lovely area. Quiet and exactly what we wanted.
Disliked: The continental breakfast was two croissants that were hard. 2 jams and 2 yogurts. Wasn’t cheese or ham like stated. Milk was dated 1st this was the 2nd when we stayed so didn’t touch the milk. Breakfast was disappointing. We had no hot water in the bath, in which I had requested before our stay. When we called up we was given opportunity to use different lodge, after we was asked if we’d already used the bath or shower, but by this point it was late (as we were told by the owner, and that there wasn’t anything they could do) we had the shower, but no different from home to be honest. We also didn’t want to move as the TV didn’t work in the other lodge was was offered (although again was told that it worked perfectly fine the day before)Overall, pub food nice, lodges peaceful just disappointing for the bath which would have been lovely when it was cold and wet outside.

Enjoyable stay, all good.

Liked: Location was good for us, comfortable, spacious, clean room, quiet with plenty of space to park. Had a lovely meal in the pub next door where the staff were very friendly, attentive and efficient, thanks to all of you. This was our second visit and we would happily return again.
