Liked: Convenient situation,nice dining room.Very friendly helpful staff.
Disliked: No cereal at breakfast time,limited choice. Not keen on the hand basin in the bedroom.Also the bedding a bit strange with the sheet folded over at the bottom of the bed.Not very comfortable like that!

Lovely rooms

Liked: Love the rooms. Good quality old fashioned furniture and rugs rather than carpeting. May not be to everyone's taste, but they are to mine. Breakfast also very good.

Lovely friendly staff, nice room...

Liked: The person we met on arrival was really friendly and helped us throughout the stay. Breakfast was lovely and overall loved the hotel.
Disliked: The price was a little expensive but really liked staying here.

A short stay for a...

Liked: The hotel is in a beautiful location yet easy to access. I found the host and all the staff extremely courteous and helpful. Would not hesitate to use again.
Disliked: I traveled with my daughter. A modesty screen on the shower would have helped.

Convenient overnight stopover.

Liked: The pub/hotel is very nice, clean and the staff were great.
Disliked: The pillows were too soft for our liking.

A little gem

Liked: The way it has been converted very open but still with a traditional pub atmosphere. The in room fare was fantastic. The breakfast choice was amazing and absolutely brilliant vegetarian options
Disliked: At night quite noisy from doors opening and walking across floor boards. But still wouldn’t stop me staying again
