Very peaceful stay

Liked: Very roomy and comfortable. Quiet but close to many places
Disliked: Breakfast wasn’t until 8:30. Made it a little late to start exploring for the day. But not a major.

Liked: Traditional pub and restaurant
Disliked: There was a leak in the pub meaning there was a large wet carpeted area near the bar. We were also without hot water for a while

Great pub, lovely location, ideal...

Liked: We had an amazing suite with all facilities. It was so comfortable and clean. The breakfast was lovely and the evening meals in the pub were delicious
Disliked: One of bedroom windows wouldn’t open which would have been nice as weather was very warm. However, fans were provided

Very enjoyable and extremely comfortable...

Liked: Very clean and a few nice touches …Bakewell pudding in the room and a lovely shortbread biscuit. Fresh milk available.
Disliked: Music was quite loud when wanting to get to sleep.

Lovely pub in heart of...

Liked: Great location in middle of Peak district near Eyam and the Peak district barn where we had a wedding . Lovely friendly staff , huge breakfasts and great dinner served in pub
Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Liked: All round british pub experience.
Disliked: Breakfast was average. Our room no 3 had a lot of noise from the bar.

Everything you want and need...

Liked: Lovely picturesque setting and a very good looking pub , inside very much in keeping with the outside . Food was exceptional and very reasonably priced, breakfast included in price was very good . Would definitely stay again
