Liked: Lovely friendly owners - big thanks for giving me a lift to the station in Machynlleth! My room was spacious and beautifully clean and the bed very comfortable. Home-cooked food in the Chinese restaurant attached. I had a very pleasant stay there.
Disliked: Can't think of anything.

Excellent comfortable stay

Liked: We arrived and were welcomed by the owner, a really friendly Chinese lady. She helped carry our luggage to a very comfortable and spacious double room. We booked a reservation for a bar meal in the evening.The menu is home made Chinese cuisine, the menu was great, and food delicious.The hotel is close to the A470, but the secondary double glassing did it's job well, we had an excellent nights sleep.

Liked: What a super place to stay. Firstly, Dinas Mawddwy is lovely - the southern gateway to Eryri (Snowdonia if you like). But the Buckley Arms is a delight. Full of original Victorian features and with something of the way things used to be done. We stayed in the King Room, "Snowdon". The bed was so sumptious as to be the sort of thing only royalty normally get to roll around in. Food, Chinese cuisine, was superb and breakfast was fabulous.
Disliked: Pillows were just a bit too sumptuous. First world problem is that.
