A very nice guest house

Liked: A lovely guest house in a spectacularly scenic area.The room is lovely (we stayed in the celtic room) with a very comfortable bed, we slept well.There is a large bathroom with bath and shower, the shower took a bit of working out but got the hang of it.There is a Chinese restaurant within the hotel which we made the most of, the food is lovely and reasonably priced as are the drinks. I believe there is a nearby pub that servers pub grub if you don't fancy a Chinese meal.The breakfast was lovely with a good choice and the view from the breakfast room was also spectacular.Would we stay again, yes.
Disliked: Easier shower controls, I got the hang of it with a little help.It did not detract from our stay

Lovely hotel, full of character,...

Liked: This is a lovely friendly family-run hotel in a Grade II listed Victorian building. Beautiful setting overlooking the River Dyfi. The restaurant/bar serves great Chinese meals. The traditional breakfast was excellent. The place has a lot of character, with an intriguing collection of antique musical instruments alongside other period artefacts and furniture. Highly recommended.
