Lovely hotel, noisy neighbours

Liked: Lovely clean room, comfy bed. Bathroom was lovely
Disliked: I’m not sure if it was the restaurant downstairs or somewhere close by, but there was some sort of music on until 2 in the morning along with lots of singing and drunk people. It was very hard to sleep as the music was so loud my room was vibrating! I know that if this wasn’t the restaurant downstairs it can’t be helped however, I would probably think twice about booking on a bank holiday again just in case something similar happened. I need my sleep! It is a shame as the hotel room was really lovely

Perfect location

Liked: Location was perfect. Very near to the Cathedral and Castle.
Disliked: A fan would have been nice as the room was very hot (sun related).A mini fridge would have been a nice touch too.

Liked: Very welcoming, lovely host and a good location.
Disliked: More attention to detail was needed regarding the cleaning. Stairs and carpets leading to the rooms didn’t leave a great impression and the previous guests toiletries were left in the shower. Easy to fix mistakes which would not stop us from returning.

Faultless!

Liked: Excellent venue for accommodation and food. The host is wonderful, and he makes you feel very welcome. The rooms are perfect with everything you might need available. Comfy bed and lovely location. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had the taster menu with the paired wines. The food is amazing! Breakfast was just as good with a great selection to choose from. We are already planning our next stay.

Liked: Rooms are attached to a beautiful Restaurant, Room only, no breakfast which suited me as an early check out. Location was a short walk into town and the Cathedral
