Very good
Liked: Staff member (owner, I think) was very pleasant, showed us our room and left us to it. Room was clean, well appointed and comfortable with a great bathroom. Location was awesome, only a few minutes walk from the major central city attractions, pubs, etc. Would definitely stay there again. The Bronze Pig did not have its own parking but there is easy and inexpensive parking directly across the road.
Disliked: Steep steps up to the room that made getting heavy bags up and down a bit awkward but not a significant issue.

Great place and location
Liked: Excellent room, great location!
Disliked: Breakfast was in a neighbouring hotel, I sense because I was on a Monday night when the restaurant was closed.. Breakfast was good though.

Great location for the upper...
Liked: The room is decorated well in a quirky style. Our room had a very spacious bathroom with large walk in shower.
Disliked: There were several reviews about a wonderful breakfast (which we had paid for) but on arrival we had to call the duty manager down to let us in, there were no other visible staff, and he told us there were no meals. There was no breakfast or dinner - despite the Booking.com site stating that the restaurant would be open during our stay. We therefore had to walk into the city (only a short way) and take pot luck for dinner. For Breakfast we were guided to the Tower Hotel about 100m away where it was a pretty mediocre cooked breakfast, probably not worth the additional we had paid. If we had known there was no breakfast in the Bronze Pig we would have booked room only and found a brunch in the city.Although the room was essentially good there was a low motor-type noise all night. There is a commercial launderette next door and we thought it might be dryers operating through the night? The entrance for the rooms is not very inviting being a side door for the passage to 'the backs' of terraced cottages and then up a very steep staircase - OK with an overnight bag but not if you have large suitcases. I can't now find the Bronze Pig on Booking.com anymore!
