Overall I would stay there again. Loved the room and record player.
Liked: A gem at Queen and Broadview.
Disliked: Rooftop restaurant could be a little more diverse. More food and beer choices would have been appreciated.

Beautiful building, but not worth...
Liked: The building and decor were beautiful, staff were friendly, and the location was great since we wanted to visit the Distillery District Christmas market which was pretty close by and it was an easy drive to my work location. Also really liked that the TV offered casting so we can watch whatever we wanted from our phones (most hotels don't offer this).
Disliked: Parking: The limited parking spots (outdoors) available were on a first come first serve basis which I though meant if you managed to get one when arriving you'll have it for the duration of your stay. However, it's a constant first come first serve meaning if you plan to drive in an out of the hotel then you risk losing your spot. I find this method doesn't make sense especially when you're charged $20 a day for parking but what if you actually only use it for a few hours cause you wanted to drive around. It ends up being an honesty policy, this method isn't the best and gives anxiety about if you can always get a spot.Pet Friendly?: The hotel is advertised as pet friendly we had higher expectations of the rooms offered. We brought our cat and soon after arriving into our room we couldn't find him. It was really alarming because no doors were open, the room was small so it didn't take long to look everywhere. The bed is a platform so I didn't see him under there, but we soon realized there are actually openings at the base of the platform that cats and small dogs can get into. We had to move the mattress and take up the base of the bed in order to get him out. This can be dangerous because there could be splinters or open nails under there. Also found a used q-tip when lifting the mattress

Liked: I enjoyed the careful manner in which this historic property was refurbished. The rooftop bar is an excellent vantage point. And the rooms were spacious and tastefully designed.

We loved it, convenient for...
Liked: Location was why we chose this place. It was a great fit for a show at the Danforth Music Hall
Disliked: A bit noisy from other guests slamming doors and a barking dog.

Great Stay! Will definitely book...
Liked: All the staff were very responsive especially if there was anything we needed. The decor was very cool. We were there for a wedding and the stay was comfortable. It was also very clean.
Disliked: The lighting could be improved, I found it kind of dark in the room.
