Why Concert-goers love it

Just a short walk or quick taxi ride from Nottingham's top concert venues, this hotel is perfect for music fans who want to stay close to the action. The late 12:00 PM check-out is a lifesaver after a late night, and being in the city centre means easy access to buses, trams, and taxis even in the early hours. The area is lively, but the hotel offers a restful place to recharge.

Who this Hotel is great for

- Groups of friends heading to a gig together
- Solo travelers catching a must-see tour
- Couples turning a concert into a weekend getaway
- Fans who want a quiet place to recover post-show
- Budget-conscious music lovers who care more about location than luxury

Food and Drink Options

Jenny’s Restaurant serves up satisfying meals, and the on-site Rogue Bar has a wide selection of drinks—great for a pre-show toast or post-concert nightcap. While there’s no 24/7 room service, the central location puts you near late-night eateries just a short walk away. Breakfast is available, perfect for those slow mornings after a big night.

Nightlife Options

The Rogue Bar offers a relaxed setting for drinks before heading out. You'll find plenty of bars, clubs, and music lounges within a 10-minute walk, so you can keep the party going or find a quiet pub to wind down.

What People Say

Guests love the hotel’s excellent location—many mention how easy it is to get to shops, restaurants, and venues on foot. The friendly staff and easy check-in process also get positive notes, making it a stress-free stay for concert-goers.

Areas for Improvement

Some reviewers mention that the hotel could use a refresh, with décor and furnishings feeling a bit dated. That said, most agree it’s a fair trade-off for the price and location. Noise from the city can be noticeable on weekends, so light sleepers might want to pack earplugs.

The Bottom Line

The Britannia Nottingham Hotel is a solid, no-frills option for concert-goers looking to stay in the heart of the action without breaking the bank.

You get what you pay for but the staff should cheer up and be more friendly.

Liked: Was reasonably priced; hotel in a good central position.
Disliked: Bit run down and dated; kettle was faulty - kept coming on by itself but never boiled.
