The Bristol Hotel

Wish I could have stayed longer, to have time to use the restaurant and bar.

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff; comfy bed; nice coffee; very good location for shopping, food, art and music.
Disliked: Very small lift.

Ideal for attending concert event at Colston Hall and the Hippodrome. The added bonus of free parking and location near to the quay made it all the better. The quality of the room and the hotel in general was of a high standard and I would definitely stay there again when I next visit Bristol.

Suted our needs

Disliked: Checking in was a problem which was not a good start after a 5.5 hour drive. We were told that the room would be ready when we arrived but it wasn't and to make matters worse, although the room was booked via Booking.Com, my name was not recognised by the hotel.

Great location and very comfortable

Liked: The location was great.The room and bed extremely comfortable.Reception staff excellent & very friendly.
Disliked: We could hear almost every word the guests in next bedroom were saying ( they weren’t loud) so sound proofing lacking.

Nice hotel, good location, good...

Liked: nice room, smart hotel, great location. Value for money wise it was perfect. Would stay there again.
Disliked: Dogs allowed in hotel but not in eating and bar areas, which is frustrating. I prefer hotels that allow well behaved dogs in restaurant/bar areas with the agreement that if they disturb other quests then staff can insist owner takes dog back to room.
