The Bristol Hotel

Wish I could have stayed longer, to have time to use the restaurant and bar.

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff; comfy bed; nice coffee; very good location for shopping, food, art and music.
Disliked: Very small lift.

Ideal for attending concert event at Colston Hall and the Hippodrome. The added bonus of free parking and location near to the quay made it all the better. The quality of the room and the hotel in general was of a high standard and I would definitely stay there again when I next visit Bristol.

Disliked: Noisy, could hear everything from outside late into the night even with windows closed.Room was warm and wasn't aware of any air conditioning. Couldn't leave window open due to noise outside.Room was very narrow.Barely any space between side of bed and curtains /window. Stubbed toes on bed feet squeezing down side of the bed.Key card stopped working at midnight.House keeping staff were very noisy in the morning. Could be heard calling to colleagues down the corridor at 8am.(Check out is midday so a lie in could be expected)

Nice hotel but staff were...

Liked: It was clean.
Disliked: The shower in our room did not work and we weren’t even asked how our stay was at checkout. I booked the room specifically for the robes which were wet when we arrived and we were only given 2 tiny towels. A member of staff in the restaurant also shouted at us for going out the “wrong way.”
