Excellent value for money and the best hosts we ever met!

Liked: Lovely place full of character and the hosts were amazing. We are a family of 3 who traveled from London during half-term with a 6 years old boy. He was given the opportunity to feed the fishes in the pond, pick up the eggs from the chickens and play with the cat. He absolutely loved it! The back garden is really pleasant, facing the Chad Brook. The studio room was big with everything we need and more. Very clean and cosy. Great value for the money. For those who love nature the location is very good and nice places to visit around. A plus - our son forgot his cuddly teddy- which was kindly sent back to us on the post with no extra cost. We definitely recommend this place and we will return again!

Liked: It is a lovely building. The family room outside is a nice wooden building with everything we needed. It is really handy to have your own cooking facilities in Covid times. Terry is really friendly and helpful (we didn't meet Lynette), and my daughters loved the dog!
Disliked: I couldn't get the shower hot (except for a couple of minutes weirdly!) (but Terry kindly let me use a different one the next day)

Liked: Generous breakfast was provided for us to prepare ourselves due to Covid restrictions. Room very warm and comfortable, Very friendly and welcoming hosts.

How to visit a family member we like very much

Liked: Comfort, space, layout, cleanliness... AllThe extremely detailed family, built the space as one thinks of building a house. There was nothing missing.
Disliked: Everything was perfect. The reception by the extremely friendly owner reminded us to be arriving at family home. Very good!

Nice place near Lavenham.

Liked: Very good value accomodation. Room was good with a fridge, cooker and microwave.
Disliked: Due to Covid restrictions entry to the property was via the side gate, instead of thought the front door.

Liked: In cottage at side of house. Well catered for with eggs juice fruit etc Dont think there was anything I didnt like.....
Disliked: Pub next door

Liked: A lovely house, full of character. Beautiful tranquil garden area, a perfect getaway.

Quirky character B and B

Liked: It was conveniently situated just outside Bury and near Lavenham. The room was full of character. The hosts were very friendly and made me tea and biscuits when I arrived, while I waited for my partner. Although the breakfast was do it yourself style provided in the kitchenette in your room (due to Covid) we liked that as you could get up at your leisure. The garden was pretty and calming with a pond and water feature. Good value for money too In that area.
Disliked: Unfortunately it is next to a busy at times through road so a bit noisy. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but fine for one night.
