Disliked: Hard bed; no air con; kept awake all night by people talking through the night outside the window; another guest stuck his head out of the window around 4.00 a.m asking them to shut up.

Disliked: Strange token car parking system, had to keep asking for tokensNoone ever at desk when I went down needing somethingPoor service at barMostly, I could tell the staff on arrival were inexperienced and confused but they pressed ahead and charged my card twice, for a not-insignificant amount. They promised to refund in the morning, which they did, but it took days to come through after I had already checked out. Had I been on a tighter budget, this really could have ruined my stay. Apologies for the mistake and some hospitality in lieu of it could have been much better.

a perfect place to rest...

Liked: Room had been recently decorated and was beautiful, the location of the hotel was great witrh beautiful surroundings, and we had a lovely evening with dinner overlooking the river.
Disliked: Can't think of anything.

Short but sweet!

Liked: Beautiful and cosy rooms, staff were fantastic. Dinner was great apart from starters coming after main dishes.
Disliked: The only area of improvement I would say is the breakfast was dry and cold, waited 25 minutes for it to arrive.

Liked: The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the facilities are very good. We enjoyed the evening meal as well.
Disliked: As an ale drinker there was not much choice. What was on was ok.
