With leafy gardens and a restaurant The Brickwall Hotel offers cooked breakfasts and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is located in the pretty East Sussex village of Sedlescombe. Set in a Tudor building the spacious rooms at The Brickwall have private bathrooms and TVs. With traditional decor rooms also feature tea/coffee facilities and a hairdryer. The oak-paneled lounge bar offers a range of beverages and snacks while the beautiful beamed dining room serves a traditional British menu. Full English breakfasts are also available daily. Brickwall Hotel features large gardens and a sun terrace and there is also a spacious guest lounge. There is plenty of free parking on site and the hotel also offers room service and packed lunches. Historical Hastings is a 10-minute drive away and Rye can be reached in 20 minutes' drive. Bodiam and Pevensey Castles are a short drive away.

Very enjoyable stay. Would definitely...

Liked: Staff were friendly and attentive.Food was excellent.Room was quiet.
Disliked: Reception on the television was very poor. Not that we wanted to watch much tv but more to listen to the radio in the evening.

Nice easy stay in great...

Liked: Lovely room, clean, spacious & in quiet area. Cleaned everyday. Tea/coffee facilities in room.Breakfast good with plenty of choice.Staff very attentive.In a lovely village setting in easy reach of places.
Disliked: Needs a little TLC.

Pleasant and comfortable for a...

Liked: Delightful, friendly welcome from the receptionist. Friendly and attentive staff. Clean room, with good space. Parking space. Nice space inside with large bar, separate sitting room. We liked the fact that the tables in the dining room were nicely spaced out.
Disliked: The extractor fan opposite our room was quite loud, but did not keep us awake. Not sure you can do much about that.
