Exceptional

Great stay.

Liked: I really liked the location. The hotel used to be a rail station and that is the motif through out. It still acts as a tourist stop. It's just outside the French Quarter, like a 3 min walk. It's convenient for tours like the hop on and off bus as well as the St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 tour (literally right across the street). My room was spacious and clean. Definitely felt is was value for the money.
Disliked: That the cafe closed so early. There's no much near by for a late night snack so if the cafe stayed open to at least 5 or there were a greater variety of grab and go snack available in the lobby that would make the hotel almost perfect. But there is a gas station across the street that has a market but that closes kind of early too.

Good choice on the edge...

Liked: Renovated train depot. Spacious room. Nice staff and just a hop and skip to the French Quarter. Glad to have discovered this hotel. Train exhibitions in the lobby.
Disliked: The cafe downstairs only opens at 9:00am and closes early. No bar or restaurant but there are coffee machines and refrigerators in the room so it was fine.

Liked: we loved the room and the bathroom- spacious and clean: just like on the pictures the reception are is beautiful: it is an old station that has been remodeled to a hotelvery convenient location to walk to the French quarter. quiet neighborhood
Disliked: coffee shop downstairs is not great for breakfastwhile it was indicated there is a rooftop bar: this area is actually closed

Liked: -Staff was very nice, friendly and welcoming-extremely clean room - props to the cleaning staff!-huge room-great location next to the French quarter, but still quiet-nice TV
Disliked: -the shower was nice but it’s on the same level as the floor so water easily gets out onto the bathroom floor-coffee machine is not the best
