Disliked: When we got to the hotel the doors were locked & nobody answered the doorbell or our knocking for ages. Eventually a member of staff was going in & we asked what was going on. After another 20 minutes or so standing in the rain, someone came out telling us all the rooms were full as Booking.com had oversubscribed the rooms. We explained that we'd booked months in advance & paid in full a few weeks earlier. We were told to claim our money back from Booking.com & were left standing there. We ended up paying almost £1,000 between the 4 of us for 2 rooms in the Grand Hotel as there weren't any cheaper due to the airshow being on as well as the Rebellion punk festival. I understand that mistakes can be made but I found it extremely poor to be ignored & left outside for so long.

Disliked: Last Wednesday afternoon went to this hotel and the staff said the room was not available due might have been double booked which i had to find another hotel which was Lyndawn hotel.I booked the Boyce hotel last year about October 2024,will i get my money back due to not staying at the Boyce hotel.

Liked: Nothing I never got through the door!
Disliked: Attitude of the woman who answered the door to tell me that the room I'd booked nearly a year in advanced and payed for while also successfully completely the online check-in the previous week was not available! She said she had told Booking.com but they knew nothing about it .So I had to wait for Booking.com to try and contact the property which they couldn't before looking for alternative accommodation for one of Blackpools busiest weekends of the year This hotel does not answer the phone messages or emails

Disliked: Booked this hotel and to arrive there drove 2 hours to finally get through to somebody to decide to tell us in a very rude manner it had closed down.Nobody contacted us been booked for months, no phone call or email nothing, when I asked what could we do "ring booking.com and literally shoved on to the street with our luggage.Avoid as it was still active on booking.com and still taking money.I have reported this and I have to wait up to 12 days for a refund so hopefully its been taken down as booking.com was not even notified that it had closed Disgusting

Boyce Hotel/Booking.com Terrible Experience.

Disliked: The fact we got there after a 9 hour journey to be told the booking was cancelled the day before! It wasn't. We were lied to.The hotel and area looked like a drug's ghetto. The person who told us of the cancellation was lying through his non-existent teeth. When has Booking.com EVER checked out the suitability of this disgusting building?After eventually getting through to your 'Customer Service Dept.' and explaining the situation we were promised they would call back within 40 minutes with an alternative hotel. 3 days later we are still waiting for that phone call. An automated email is NOT good enough in situations like this. Nor is the fact we still have not received a refund. Oh no, instead we have to send you the invoice of the hotel we booked ourselves for you to reimburse us.I am utterly appalled at the experience received. Don't bother with an Automated reply as I'm not interested. If you wish to speak to me I suggest a personal contact with an actual human being and not your AI assistant. Please don't insult me with how many millions of satisfied customers you have. Your true colours only come out in situations like this.

Great room in great location
Liked: Prime location right in the centre of town, a very short work to the shops, beach and transport links. Cosy and comfy room with a soft bed and a lovely hot shower as well. Have been here a few times and will stay again.
