The room, the bar and the restaurant were fabulous. The location is ideal to attend an event at TD Garden. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and we enjoyed our weekend in Boston.

Was my first time in Boston and to see an NHL game and I'm so glad we picked The Boxer to stay in while we were there. A very central location to a lot of the main spots in Boston - I think I took a cab once in the two days I was there and we did A LOT! Awesome staff and a very cute room - the pictures don't do enough for the hotel. Great stay - I will definitely be back.

Liked: Got exactly the room I wanted with two double beds - no mix up. = )
Disliked: They forgot to fill my bathroom amenities when they cleaned the room - honest mistake.

There was no mention of the hotel's renovations. So that was a surprise, and considering the extensive renovations, the room rate probably should have been a little less. Also, I selected a double bed room and didn't receive. That said, our room was nice and it looks like the hotel will be too, once finished.

Liked: Room was nice, as I believe it was recently renovated.
Disliked: Renovations and not the room we selected.

It was okay - the...

Liked: The location of the property was fantastic for walking all over the city! The bed was comfy ( pillows… not so much) and overall it felt mostly clean.
Disliked: Our shower was cracking, the sink is TINY and there’s only one, the filters and ac was very dusty, and the lamps were annoying - there’s a lamp under the tv and the light bulb hangs lower than the shade so when you turn it on and lay on the bed, you are blinded. It’s also tethered to the wall so there’s no way to move it and we detest overhead lighting. I was also told we could order drinks up to our room by one staff member and when I called, another staff member said we couldn’t.Their website says to reach out to the front desk for ice, but when I did, I was told it was on the third floor.We were also told room service was available until 11 but when we called at 8:52 pm to order food, we were told the kitchen was closing and no longer taking orders.

Great location but the room...

Liked: We loved the location, close to loads of bars and restaurants, but also close enough to Seaport if you fancy a longer stroll
Disliked: We stayed here 2 years ago and loved it, but this time we were give the smallest room in the hotel, we know this because the receptionist told us. The bed was tiny and pressed against the wall, so if you had to get up in the middle of the night, it was a struggle. It would have been OK for one night, or for a single traveller, but we were there for four nights and had lots of luggage, so by the time you spread out, there was barely any room left.
