The Boxer Hotel

The room, the bar and the restaurant were fabulous. The location is ideal to attend an event at TD Garden. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and we enjoyed our weekend in Boston.

Was my first time in Boston and to see an NHL game and I'm so glad we picked The Boxer to stay in while we were there. A very central location to a lot of the main spots in Boston - I think I took a cab once in the two days I was there and we did A LOT! Awesome staff and a very cute room - the pictures don't do enough for the hotel. Great stay - I will definitely be back.

Liked: Got exactly the room I wanted with two double beds - no mix up. = )
Disliked: They forgot to fill my bathroom amenities when they cleaned the room - honest mistake.

There was no mention of the hotel's renovations. So that was a surprise, and considering the extensive renovations, the room rate probably should have been a little less. Also, I selected a double bed room and didn't receive. That said, our room was nice and it looks like the hotel will be too, once finished.

Liked: Room was nice, as I believe it was recently renovated.
Disliked: Renovations and not the room we selected.

By far one of the best hotel experiences we have had. Thank you!

Disliked: When checking out my husband asked about the parking garage, which the hotel has a partnership with and if we needed a voucher or parking validation, they said “no you just pull out”. We both challenged this since there was no way to prove we stayed at the hotel and they said “test my theory”. Low and behold, my husband had to pay for two days of parking and the hotel did not offer to reimburse us for the difference and the young woman at the front desk was incredibly rude and condescending. Super disappointed because we’ve stayed here in the past and they had valet parking-so to ask them to clarify and then have them give us the wrong guidance cost us $40

Liked: Very close to TD Garden
Disliked: The bed was wicked uncomfortable, it felt like i was sleeping on a hill. Parking is $50 and you have to park yourself- no valet- and its at least a block away. The bar at the hotel is also no longer open.
