Liked: While I enjoyed my stay at The Bosun, with a warm welcome from the friendly staff, I found the property could do with an upgrade. Shabby paintwork, weeds growing in the front garden, and in pots that could be much nicer filled with flowers didn't do the establishment any justice. My room was clean but very small and the bed linen is old and worn out looking. Old fashioned wool blankets are not healthy for anyone! Nice white cotton duvets (not feather) would be much preferable. The food in the bar was good, but expensive. Breakfast was served, which was very well cooked and presented. However, some fresh fruit and yoghurt would have been a nice option.
Disliked: Shabby bed linen, weeds outside, just needs some love but has great potential
