We booked through ConcertHotels.com and got exactly what we were looking for. Clean, comfortable and short walk to concert at the Garden!

Liked: Easy to valet park car and leave for the night; professional staff; clean and short walking distance to TD Garden and Quincy Market.

Bostonian Hotel was Amazing

Liked: This location is perfect for every site in Boston. Train station is across the street. The staff was extremely helpful on giving city tips. I will definitely stay here again. Rooms were spacious.

Disappointing

Liked: Great location very nice staff
Disliked: We got a room on booking.com for the discount because it's much cheaper than booking through the hotel. However when we arrived at the room we noticed why it was so cheap. The shower was broken, the TV didn't work, and our view out the window was a brick wall. We saw beautiful balconies and views of the city in every other room but it seems they save the worst room for booking.com customers . We didn't complain or ask for a new room due to our less than 12 hour stay. Be aware you get what you pay for.

Mixed feelings

Liked: Location was great. Very walkable close to Quincy Market and the Wharf. Large bedrooms with sitting area. Elegant lobby. Water botles provided at lobby. Comfortable beds.
Disliked: The first night our AC didn't work. Called early morning. Were told it was broken but another technician came and said it was fixable. Had to leave for tour. Were told a room would be set aside for us to switch if necessary upon our return and note left at front desk. Came back, no note and no one knew about our room. Went upstairs to check. Ac was on. Explained to front desk concern and asked if they could verify with technician. Came back at 11:15pm to find our room extremely hot. At that point we requested to be changed. Were given an inferior room category and no assistance or communication other than: "that's all we have" "we are sold out".When checking out I found a diacrepancy in the charges and pointed out to front desk(refrigerator ordered and prepaid but never received), the person removed one of them but said didn't know why the difference in the other charge was for. Couldn't take it off and would leave a note for manager (apparently they were not there at the time). I asked the persons full name so that when I called I could indicate who I spoke to during the check out process but the perdon refused to provide it saying they weren't comfortable providing that information to me. Then later on told me that usually customers just trust them. I relayed the message that sometimes after you leave it's hard to fix any discrepancies via phone and that that was the only reason I had asked. Nothing more. Afterwards we just left. Obviously the attitude was not Customer service oriented and I just did not wish to finish our vacation on a bad note. Second room had great working AC.

Bad

Disliked: You misleading people to believe that they buy a view and then there is trash and garbage in-front of window and garbage truck that picks it up every night 3am. The window always opened and have some sort of air condition tube that goes through window. Tried to reason with staff, had most awful deceiving reaction. Worst hotel experience in 10 years.

Great rooms, great staff, and...

Liked: Loved how central it was to the best parts of the city. Was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go. And thankfully, close to the red line, as I was in town for Boston Calling, and it made the trip to and from the Festival very easy.
Disliked: I have no notes. I loved everything about the hotel

Good location, still not good...

Liked: Location
Disliked: Too expensive for what we paid, pretty overpriced, they even charge an arbitrary 25 usd per room per night apart of the base tariff.
