Nice room, location good

Liked: Location was excellent. Bed very comfortable.Under floor heating in bathroom
Disliked: Soap dispenser for the sink, had not been replenished and given the soap was needed to wash your hands, after using the toilet. Was not hygienic Shower dispenser also had not been replenishedBin had not been emptied

Super value for money.

Disliked: Lovely old property but narrow, steep stairs.

Interesting experience meeting nice people...

Liked: The staff were welcoming.
Disliked: The room did not look like the room I saw on the add. You check in at the pub/restaurant as here was no reception desk. The room was actually in another building up three flights of two foot wide switchback stairway.

Had a great time with...

Liked: Clean, tidy, and well presented. Very comfortable bed. We were in a disabled room but ample space in the bathroom

Friendly young staff, perfect central...

Liked: I enjoyed the friendly and informal atmosphere, and I think the (mainly) young staff is responsible for that. The Borough is essentially a pub+food, and I have to say that their beer, wine and spirit selection was excellent. It is also strategically located in the centre of Lancaster. The room was good, small, but had everything you need for a short stay.
