A good 3rd night stay...

Liked: Very friendly welcome. Lovely cosy bar. Rooms a little tired, but shower was hot and the bed comfy.
Disliked: The evening meal was disappointing. Very over salted neeps and tatties and dry pie.

Enjoyable stay at the Border...

Liked: Lovely modern room. Large bathroom. Large comfortable bed and a good sized TV with Netflix. Plenty of drawers to unpack your belongings.Friendly, welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast. Good food and drink. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and will definitely return again.
Disliked: Could have done with a little more water pressure in the shower but not a big deal.

Liked: Breakfast was great, dinner was great, comfy room and bed, well set up for walkers and general travellers. Independently owned and the quality was good.
Disliked: Nothing, all good.

Great location, good food and...

Liked: The location is superb in the middle of the village. The food on offer in the evening and the breakfast was very good.We really liked having a bath rather than just a shower.
Disliked: The bed wasn't that comfy and that the room is unusual having a window that opens into an internal corridor making ventilation difficult.
