Terrible

Liked: Nothing much
Disliked: The bed was home to a heard of elephants before i slept in it. I could barely walk in the morning and the owner double charged me and I had to get the money back off my bank. Be careful here

Just what we needed for...

Liked: The location, the staff and the evening meal, it is in a fantastic rural location, the staff were exceptionally welcoming and the food was prepared to a high standard.

Fantastic experience, lovely staff, great...

Liked: The owner and the bar staff were extremely friendly! There was an issue with our room which required us to move, but David looked after us and was very good to us too! It was a pleasure to stay somewhere where you felt appreciated and part of the local community too!
Disliked: Nothing

Information on their site was...

Liked: Friendly helpful staff from the minute I arrived.
Disliked: There wass no indication on the site that there was no breakfast available during my stay. I knew that it was a shared bathroom but would never book one aagain.

Don't stay here. It's cheap...

Liked: Staff were very polite and helpful.
Disliked: Didn't seem particularly well organised, nobody seemed to expect a guest to be staying when I arrived with my partner. We were told that breakfast wasn't being offered currently which wasn't ideal as there isn't much in the village. We were then shown up too our room, which whilst not dirty definitely wasn't clean either, and then informed the bathroom is shared. This wasn't mentioned anywhere online or noted during the booking process, in fact there are even pictures of 2 different bathrooms so I'm not sure where the other one is, if it exists. We decided not to stay. When I told them, to their credit, they were very understanding and suggested the pub round the corner as a potential for the night - I suspect we weren't the first to arrive and then decide to leave within 30minutes. I was told the owner would ring me to arrange a refund however I haven't heard anything 2 weeks later.

Decent budget option

Liked: In a lovely, quiet little village. Nice bathroom with a good shower. Kettle and tea/coffee/hot chocolate in the room.
Disliked: Room could have done with bedside light(s) and sockets. Breakfast not available. Don’t know if this was a temporary issue but if not the details need to be adjusted to avoid disappointment.

Ok but confusing

Liked: Nice location and the inn had an authentic rustic feel about it.
Disliked: No food although advertised that there was a restaurant there. Was with a party of other guests who had issues with their booking and had to pay again. Wifi was rubbish.
