A lovely relaxing few days
Liked: The hotel is small and friendly. The room and bathroom are not huge but more than acceptable.We ate in the hotel both nights once in the Stables and the other in the bar and the food was very good, The breakfast was amazing
Disliked: The parking is at the back of the hotel and is not for sole use of the hotel. We didn’t have any problems but it may be an issue at busy times of year.

Liked: Excellent breakfast. Probably one of the best breakfasts in any hotel that we've been fortunate to stay in.
Disliked: We did not dislike anything about the hotel. Extensive wine list with prices to match but to be expected in this quality of hotel. Don't be put off. Enjoy.

Very enjoyable
Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and plenty of choice. Great location and walking maps available. Nice thought to give goodie bag with water and flapjacks on leaving.
Disliked: Unfortunately underfloor heating wasn’t working in shower room so it was very cold. Staff arranged for t to be fixed when we mentioned it to them. Draft lager selection not to our taste. Not everyone wants craft beers.
