Disliked: No a/c (understandable for the price I guess ) BUT every room should have a fan. 28C at midnight in June and the window only opens 4 cm (Room 3) The Welcome wasn’t great either, no smile, poor explanation of how to access the room from outside when the pub closes.

Good food, friendly staff.

Liked: Location was good - went for the ABR festival at Ragley Hall. Stefan was great fun and very helpful.Food was excellent and staff very friendly.
Disliked: The rooms next to the road could have been more sound proof - and they were very hot.

Liked: Staff were very helpful they were very friendly, our room was comfortable,with ample space, clean and tidy every day, food was excellent, plenty of choice, on the menu, location was good.

A welcoming and comfortable retreat

Liked: All staff friendly and helpful. Accommodation was comfortable and clean. Bedrooms tastefully ‘modernised’. Nice to have real roses on the restaurant tables and real plants in the bedrooms! The Inn itself was quaint. Menu in restaurant offered good range and choice of food ; tasty and reasonably priced. We very much enjoyed our stay and will return. Parking was provided; there were plenty of spaces. Access to Stratford easy- we used Uber taxis a couple of times- cheaper than parking all day in Stratford and easy way to get to/from theatre. Cost of accommodation also very reasonable, particularly when compared with Stratford Upon Avon.
Disliked: Stair access to upstairs rooms would be difficult for some, but it’s an old , historic inn, so difficult to do anything to improve.
