Perfect stay and location for...

Liked: Welcoming and friendly atmosphere from the start. Excellent home cooked food in good portions. Breakfast similarly. Easy checkout.
Disliked: Considering it was the hottest day so far this summer it was sticky indoors but totally unavoidable.

Lovely room, lovely staff, lovely...

Liked: The room was extremely clean and comfortable with a lovely en suite bathroom. All the staff dealt with us in a very professional manner. We had an evening meal which was really good and there was plenty of choice on the breakfast menu.The room also had a balcony with comfortable seats and a lovely view to the surrounding countryside.
Disliked: The art work on the walls in the bedroom and bathroom was rather bizarre but that was just a personal choice.

Liked: Very nice location, rooms very clean and comfortable
Disliked: The restaurant prices are quite expensive, however, the food was very nice. So I guess you get what you pay for.

Liked: Most staff there went above and beyond with the service. From delivering cocktails to the room, lending us an ironing board, food was excellent. Really impressed.
Disliked: Slight issue when ordering the special (trout) on the menu. The kitchen had run out of trout and so the waitress gave me plaice instead. There was no mention of this when she brought the dishes out, so it just looked like she hoped we wouldn't notice. The food was excellent and manager apologised, so just a small flaw in otherwise perfect service.
