Liked: The hotel has an eccentric vibe to it with an open space in the center. It felt like you stepped by in time and were someplace like New Orleans with the indoor balcony. This open space featured various pieces of wall art for sale. The room was large and had a refrigerator and microwave. The bed was comfortable. There was coffee available 24 hours.
Disliked: The breakfast options were mostly typical overprocessed foods. The furniture and carpeting looked worn and stained in our room. Check your room door when you close it to make sure it locks. We discovered the following morning that our door didn't lock when we closed it. I assume this was an oversight but I have learned to always check my door at hotels.

Lovely property with accommodating staff.

Liked: Loved the eclectic decor. It was very unique. Very clean, staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast was very good.
Disliked: Swimming pool needs some TLC.

Would definitely stay again!

Liked: Extremely attentive and friendly staff. Cute boutique styling. King room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Hot water with great pressure. Standard breakfast.
Disliked: No blow dryer in room.

Budget friendly & nice staff

Liked: The bed and pillows were comfortable, the room was much larger than most king suites; it was clean, and we loved the carpet design. Nice to have a fridge with a freezer. The dining room juice/coffee machine was amazing and even added milk like I like. And the waffles were sweet! It was a quiet and peaceful stay!
Disliked: The public computer had no wifi access! The door to my room sticks; the desk was chipped with a sharp piece sticking out; no exhaust fan in bathroom (just good that I brought the room spray!) There was no menu on remote or screen to select tv channels. Couldn't find my shows clicking each channel... just gave up and went to sleep. Only one very rickety torn uncomfortable chair. No lights in coffee bar area.

The room could have been...

Liked: I liked the location it was quiet and close to where we needed to go.
Disliked: Found dirty wash clothes in the bathroom that weren't ours, mtirror was dirty and I had to try to get it clean enough so I could see through it to do make up. The floor has red drops on it like it was blood and on the wall by the kitchenette doesn't look like anyone attempted to clean it up. There was food dropped on the chairs and never wiped up and it was liquid like pudding or mash potatoes. We stayed here last fall and it was so nice and clean so very disappointed it was like this.
