Ditch the strong room deodourizer...

Liked: If you are visiting the local medical facilities eg at Prince of Wales Hospital its very convenient and public transport is good too - light rail and buses.
Disliked: We arrived at night around 9pm to the Blenheim St address (there is also another entry off High St Randwick) and we struggled to find the number and front gate as there was no light and no clear signage (unlike the High St entry). Our room was sort've "accessible" ie for disabled access on the ground floor (not that we requested this). I thought my booking said "verandah" but we had none, instead we had sort've a courtyard. My main concern was the cleaning smell coming from the room. The smell of deodouriser was very strong, as were the smells coming from the bathroom which was not sealed from the bedroom with large air gaps all around the door frame. We tried to open the sash window but it was locked. So we flipped open the louvers which had no flyscreens. It was a freezing night in Sydney and we were very cold with an open window. In addition there was no spare blanket. After about an hour in bed, still freezing, we opened our suitcases and put on ALL of our warmest clothes. Next thing, the hospital helicopter landed which was very loud with the window open! All in all not a very comfortable night having just flown in from overseas.

Excellent for a hospital visit

Liked: I was there because I had early morning surgery at the hospital. The location of this place was absolutely perfect for this, as it is so close to both the hospital(s) and the tram stop.
Disliked: We really sunk into the beds, they were a little uncomfortable. And the room was quite "cosy." However for the purposes of my trip it was fine.
